New Delhi: UiPath has acquired Peak, a UK-based AI company, to strengthen its automation platform with industry-specific AI applications. The deal aims to expand UiPath’s capabilities in optimizing inventory management, pricing, and decision-making processes for businesses.
Strengthening AI-Driven Automation
Peak specializes in AI-driven decision intelligence, helping businesses automate complex tasks like inventory planning and pricing optimization. UiPath plans to integrate Peak’s AI solutions into its automation platform, allowing companies to develop AI workflows and process data more efficiently.
According to UiPath CEO Daniel Dines, the acquisition aligns with the company’s strategy to enhance AI-based automation across various industries. “With Peak’s AI applications, we can better serve industry-specific use cases and improve decision-making capabilities,” Dines said.
Expanding Market Reach
As part of UiPath, Peak’s AI solutions will now be available to a wider customer base across different sectors, including retail and manufacturing. The acquisition is expected to support businesses looking to streamline operations through AI-powered automation.
Richard Potter, CEO of Peak, said the acquisition comes at a time when automation and AI are becoming more integrated. “UiPath’s expertise and global reach will help us scale our solutions and accelerate AI adoption in enterprises,” Potter said.
Focus on AI-Based Decision Intelligence
Peak’s technology will be integrated into UiPath’s agentic automation platform, helping businesses meet complex requirements for data analysis and predictions. UiPath plans to introduce new AI-powered pricing and inventory management tools based on Peak’s capabilities.
UiPath and Peak had previously collaborated on automation solutions, including a project with Heidelberg Materials, a UK-based construction materials firm. The companies worked together to automate pricing quotes by using AI to analyze data and improve sales efficiency.
