With effect from 14 March, Sudeep Kunnumal has been named chief human resources officer (CHRO) of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). After Milind Lakkad’s superannuation, Sudeep will take over from Milind completely.

Sudeep has been with the company since 2000 and formerly served as the Human Resources leader for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) vertical. He graduated from Madurai Kamaraj University with a master’s degree in human resource management.

According to TCS’s statement,

“In all his roles, one of his top priorities has been to build compelling value propositions to attract and retain top-tier talent, positioning the Company as an employer of choice and bridging the gap between academia and industry.”

And this isn’t it, his efforts helped set a Guinness World Record through the global programming contest CodeVita, which reshaped campus hiring practices.

Additionally, Sudeep has spearheaded enterprise-wide change management, bolstering TCS’ strategy for integrating talent throughout mergers, acquisitions, and onboarding.
