New Delhi: Satender K Sighadia has been named the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of GPS Renewables. Sighadia will lead the company’s human resources department in this crucial position, managing corporate and site operations and contributing significantly to GPS Renewables’ expansion goals by implementing a strong people strategy.
Sighadia, who has more than 22 years of experience, brings to his current position a wealth of business leadership and military discipline. He joined the Indian Army in 2001 and remained there till 2007, rising to the rank of Major.
Since making the move to the corporate sector in 2008, Sighadia has occupied several executive roles in a variety of sectors, such as manufacturing, services, IT/ITES, and agrospecialty chemicals.
His areas of experience include talent planning, business transformation, change management, mergers & acquisitions, and HR digitisation. His ability to promote cultural integration and create people-first initiatives that complement corporate objectives has earned him special recognition.
Sighadia was Head of HR for India & Southwest Asia at FMC Corporation, a world leader in agricultural sciences, before joining GPS Renewables.
