New Delhi: Meta India has appointed Aman Jain, former Amazon Director of Public Policy, as its new Head of Public Policy.
Announced on 12 December, Jain will take charge early next year and report to Simon Milner, Meta’s Vice President of Policy for the Asia-Pacific region.
He replaces Shivnath Thukral, who left the company in June to join PhonePe. In his new role, Jain will guide Meta’s policy strategy and engagements in India and will be part of the company’s India leadership team.
Jain joins Meta after a two-year stint at Amazon, where he led policy efforts across marketplaces, competition, operations and technology. He previously spent over seven years at Google in various policy positions.
