Databricks Appoints Jeremy Cooper as Vice President of Marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan

Bengaluru: Databricks has appointed Jeremy Cooper as Vice President of Marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).

Cooper brings more than 20 years of experience as a global marketing leader across high-growth cloud and enterprise software companies. Most recently, he led marketing for Amazon Web Services across Asia Pacific and Japan. In that role, he was responsible for regional go-to-market strategy and played a key role in driving pipeline growth across enterprise, public sector, partner, and startup segments.

Before AWS, Cooper held senior global marketing leadership roles at Salesforce, Google, and LinkedIn. During his tenure at these companies, he helped build category-leading brands and scale global go-to-market programs, contributing to long-term business growth.

In his new role, Cooper will lead Databricks’ marketing strategy and execution across Asia Pacific and Japan. His focus will include expanding the company’s regional footprint, strengthening brand awareness, and driving revenue growth and pipeline generation.

With his deep experience in cloud technologies and global brand building, Cooper is expected to support Databricks as it enters the next phase of AI-driven growth in APJ, supporting customers as they adopt advanced data and AI capabilities at scale.
