Mumbai: IDBI Bank has awarded the deal to upgrade and expand its data centre to IT firm Aurionpro Solutions.
The move comes as part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to strengthen technology resilience and operational efficiency.
The project involves a comprehensive upgrade of IDBI Bank’s existing data centre, covering electrical systems, cooling infrastructure, physical security, and allied mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The work will be carried out in a live production environment, with a strong focus on ensuring uninterrupted operations and business continuity throughout the transition.
Aurionpro Solutions will execute the expansion and migration without impacting day-to-day banking services. The company will deploy senior design and execution specialists who will work closely with IDBI Bank’s operations and head office teams to ensure zero downtime and adherence to regulatory and security requirements.
The upgrade is aimed at supporting IDBI Bank’s growing digital workloads and strengthening its ability to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable banking services. With uptime and compliance being critical for the banking sector, the enhanced data centre infrastructure will play a key role in supporting the bank’s current and future technology initiatives.
