Pune: Vanderlande, a global logistics process automation company, has set up an India Innovation Centre (IIC) in Pune.
This reinforces India’s growing role as a hub for advanced engineering, research, and innovation.
For Vanderlande, the opening of a new facility marks a key expansion of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) operations and makes India its second-largest technology hub globally, after the Netherlands.
The Pune IIC is spread across two acres and has been designed in a manner wherein engineers can co-create, test, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions for global customers across warehousing, airports, and parcel logistics. The focus areas of the centre will include robotic automation, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and digital-physical integration.
