Gurugram, 7 Apr, (CXO Media): Tenneco has appointed Aditya Kohli as Chief Human Resources Officer for its India operations. The appointment comes at a time when companies across the manufacturing and automotive components sector are strengthening workforce capabilities to support operational scale and evolving business demands.

In his new role, Kohli will oversee the company’s people strategy in India, including leadership development, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives. His responsibilities are expected to cover strengthening organizational processes and aligning workforce policies with business priorities across the company’s India footprint.

Before joining Tenneco, Kohli served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Orient Electric, where he handled human capital initiatives during a period of business expansion. Earlier, he held the CHRO position at Clix Capital, gaining experience in workforce management within the financial services sector.

His career also includes roles at Bharti Airtel and Standard Chartered Bank, where he worked across HR functions in large-scale corporate environments. Kohli began his professional journey at Aon, building foundational experience in human resources and organizational processes.

The appointment reflects a broader trend among industrial and automotive companies to strengthen HR leadership as they adapt to new technologies, automation, and changing workforce expectations. Companies operating in manufacturing-heavy sectors are placing greater emphasis on leadership continuity, employee engagement, and workforce capability building to remain competitive.
