Hyderabad, 8 Apr, (CXO Media): Heineken has appointed Mahak Mathur as Head of People Operations, HBS India, effective April 2026. The move places him in charge of people operations for the company’s business services operations in India.
Leadership Role In India Business Services
In his new role, Mathur will oversee end-to-end people operations, including workforce processes across the employee lifecycle and HR service delivery. His responsibilities include strengthening operational processes and supporting alignment between local HR execution and the company’s global standards.
The appointment comes as global companies continue to expand shared services and global capability centres in India, increasing the need for experienced HR leaders to manage workforce scale and service delivery efficiency.
Professional Background And Experience
Mathur brings around 17 years of experience in human resources, spanning technology and manufacturing sectors. Before joining Heineken, he worked as Senior Manager – HRBP and People Operations at super.money, where he handled HR business partnering and operational responsibilities.
Earlier in his career, he spent close to seven years at Flipkart, where he led people operations initiatives within the People Experience function. He has also worked with companies such as Hero MotoCorp, Reckitt, Subros Limited, and Mahindra Group, handling HR operations and workforce management roles.
His experience across large enterprises and fast-growing organisations is expected to support Heineken’s operational HR requirements in India, particularly as multinational companies continue to strengthen their India-based business support functions.
