Zoho Enters Rs 12,000 Crore Revenue Club In FY25

Chennai, 10 Apr, (CXO Media): Zoho crossed the Rs 12,000 crore revenue mark in FY25. Zoho Corporation reported annual revenue of Rs 12,313 crore in FY25, registering 17.8% year-on-year growth and marking a key revenue milestone for the privately held software firm.

Total income, including other income largely from investments and interest, increased to Rs 13,544 crore from Rs 11,193 crore in FY24, reflecting continued demand for enterprise software products across global markets.

Software Revenue, Global Contribution

Software products remained the primary revenue driver during the year. The Zoho suite contributed Rs 7,051 crore, accounting for 57% of total revenue, while the IT management platform Manage Engine generated Rs 4,863 crore, or 39% of revenue. North America remained the largest contributor with 41% of total revenue, followed by Asia at 30% and Europe at 23%, indicating continued reliance on international markets.

Rising Costs, Profit Movement

Operating expenses increased at a faster pace than revenue, impacting profitability. Total costs rose 30.5% year-on-year to Rs 9,217 crore, driven largely by employee expenses of Rs 4,347 crore and higher spending on advertising and promotions. As a result, net profit declined marginally to Rs 3,191 crore from Rs 3,299 crore in FY24, while tax expenses also increased during the period.

Leadership Change, Business Expansion

During FY25, founder Sridhar Vembu transitioned to the role of Chief Scientist, with Shailesh Kumar Davey taking over as Group CEO. The company also expanded into digital payments with the launch of Zoho Pay and continued to strengthen its domestic presence through government-related email service contracts.
