Bangalore, Apr 17 (CXO Media): Yubico has appointed Nagesh Belur as Senior Sales Director for India, strengthening its sales leadership as demand for advanced authentication technologies grows across enterprise and public-sector networks.
In this role, he will lead the company’s regional sales strategy and partner ecosystem in India, with a focus on expanding adoption of phishing-resistant authentication solutions across sectors such as banking, government, and critical infrastructure. Enterprises in these sectors are increasingly deploying hardware-based authentication and multi-factor security systems to address risks linked to credential theft, phishing attacks, and unauthorised access.
India’s expanding digital infrastructure and regulatory focus on cybersecurity resilience have prompted organisations to modernise identity and access management frameworks, driving demand for secure authentication technologies.
Belur brings over 17 years of experience in enterprise security, account management, and market expansion across India and the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining Yubico, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at iValue Group, where he worked on enterprise engagement and cybersecurity solution adoption initiatives.
The appointment aligns with a broader industry trend of global cybersecurity firms strengthening local leadership teams in India to address increasing enterprise investments in identity-first security models and phishing-resistant authentication frameworks.
