New Delhi: Online food and grocery delivery platform Swiggy has expanded its 10-minute food delivery app, Snacc, to Noida and Gurugram. The move marks the app’s entry into the Delhi-NCR region after its pilot launch in Bengaluru earlier this year in January 2025.
A Growing Bet on Ultra-Fast Delivery
Snacc is Swiggy’s standalone platform focused on delivering ready-to-eat meals, beverages, and healthy snacks within 10 minutes, operated through its own network of cloud kitchens. With this expansion, Swiggy aims to cater to the increasing demand for ultra-fast food delivery in urban hubs with a dense working population.
The app currently offers items such as cold brews, lemonade, lassi, buttermilk, protein shakes, fruit bowls, and health bars. According to Swiggy, the platform is designed to minimize the browsing and ordering time, positioning itself as a quick-access option for frequently ordered items.
Competition Heats Up in 10-Minute Delivery Space
Swiggy’s move places it in direct competition with other quick-commerce players such as Zepto Café and Blinkit Bistro. Zepto’s Café offering recently reported strong performance, with CEO Aadit Palicha stating in February that it had reached 100,000 orders per day.
Zomato-backed Blinkit, which launched its Bistro offering in Gurugram in January 2025, also enters the fray as companies attempt to redefine expectations in the food delivery space by compressing delivery times further.
Swiggy’s earlier experiment in this space came through Bolt, a 10-minute delivery feature integrated into its main app, available in over 425 cities. As per its last earnings report, around 9% of Swiggy’s food orders were fulfilled via Bolt.
