Mumbai: Microsoft has announced the promotion of Himani Agrawal as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its India and South Asia operations. This decision has been taken as Microsoft deepens its focus on integrating artificial intelligence into its core operations.
With over 25 years of experience and a robust career within Microsoft, Agrawal brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. She most recently served as Chief Partner Officer, where she successfully scaled Microsoft’s vast partner ecosystem of over 20,000 partners across 850 cities, driving widespread cloud and AI adoption.
In her new position, Agrawal will be responsible for aligning business goals across the organization, accelerating revenue growth, and fostering operational excellence through strategic innovation and simplification. Her leadership journey at Microsoft also includes impactful roles such as Chief of Staff and Country Head for Azure and Business Applications.
