Bengaluru: Digital transformation and IT services company Happiest Minds Technologies Limited has announced the appointment of Anand Balakrishnan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his new role, Anand will report to Venkatraman Narayanan, managing director of the company.
Anand brings over 20 years of experience in financial management, accounting, and strategic leadership, having held key positions at Marsh McLennan (formerly JLT), GE Healthcare, and most recently, Mindteck, a publicly listed IT services firm. During his six-year stint at Mindteck, Anand was instrumental in improving financial discipline and operational efficiency, leading the company back to profitability and driving sustainable growth.
Anand is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, and a Certified Public Accountant (AICPA). He also holds a commerce degree from Bangalore University.
