New Delhi: Fortinet has updated its cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) and extended more services to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, signalling a broader push to support enterprise cloud security across complex, hybrid environments.

Key services added to AWS Marketplace

The cybersecurity company has made several of its products available via AWS Marketplace, including:

  • FortiAppSec Cloud: Offers unified web application and API protection

  • FortiMail Workspace Security: Provides security for SaaS platforms like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

  • FortiNDR Cloud: Enables AI-driven detection for distributed infrastructures

  • FortiSIEM: Supports log management and response in large environments

  • Fortinet Incident Response Services: Delivers expert-led support for threat containment and recovery

This move allows AWS customers to deploy and manage Fortinet services more easily through their existing accounts and apply AWS Enterprise Discount Program (EDP) benefits. The inclusion of Fortinet’s incident response capabilities also follows its recognition under the AWS Security Incident Response Specialisation.

Enhancements to FortiCNAPP

Fortinet’s CNAPP platform, developed in partnership with Lacework, now includes:

  • Real-time CloudTrail alerting: Reduces detection latency from 24 hours to under 15 minutes

  • Security graph Explorer: Visualises attack paths and asset relationships

  • Agentless Windows scanning: Identifies vulnerabilities in Windows workloads without software installation

  • Fleet management tools: Offers insights into agent health and coverage across environments

These updates are aimed at improving threat visibility, reducing operational complexity, and speeding up response time for cloud-native applications.
