Based in Bengaluru, he will oversee Zscaler’s regional operations and drive the company’s efforts to support enterprises adopting zero-trust security models. The appointment comes as demand for secure cloud transformation accelerates across India and neighbouring markets amid increasing adoption of AI and cloud technologies.

He brings over two decades of experience in enterprise technology, having held leadership positions at Databricks, UiPath, SAP, Tech Mahindra, and Microsoft. Commenting on his new role, Dabke said the cybersecurity landscape in India and SAARC is evolving rapidly, and organizations are prioritizing scalable and secure cloud frameworks. He emphasised the importance of strengthening digital resilience as enterprises transition to data-driven business models.

Andreas Hartl, Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific & Japan at Zscaler, noted that India remains one of the company’s fastest-growing markets. He said his experience will help accelerate regional momentum and support customers navigating security challenges in digital transformation.
