Coforge Launches Forge-X to Integrate AI Across Software Development Workflows

Noida: Coforge has introduced Forge-X, a new engineering and delivery platform designed to integrate agentic AI into software development and product engineering processes. Announced in Greater Noida on November 24, the platform aims to standardize and automate complex development workflows by using autonomous AI agents across the software and product lifecycle.

The company said Forge-X will support distributed development teams, link with commonly used engineering systems such as Jira and ServiceNow and apply domain-specific context to decision-making. The focus is on improving delivery speed, managing legacy complexity, and aligning engineering output with business requirements. The platform has been developed by the firm’s Advanced Engineering Services unit.

Forge-X brings together a set of tools and AI agents that address specific engineering functions. These include CodeInsightAI for reverse and forward engineering of legacy systems, BlueSwan for quality engineering and assurance, NORTHSTAR for continuous integration and observability, and EvolveOps.AI for autonomous operations across hybrid cloud environments. According to the company, these capabilities are designed to reduce manual intervention in development and operations, while offering organizations greater visibility into their technology stacks.

Coforge executives said the platform reflects a gradual shift toward AI-native delivery models, where intelligence is embedded across requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment stages. The company has framed its approach around a four-stage model—onboarding, enablement, scaling, and self-governance to support enterprises adopting AI-assisted workflows.

The launch signals the firm’s intent to deepen its position in AI-driven engineering services, an area in which technology providers are increasingly investing as enterprises modernize legacy applications and expand cloud adoption. By combining its industry expertise with AI-enabled tooling, Coforge aims to strengthen its competitiveness in large-scale transformation projects while responding to rising demand for standardized, automated engineering processes.
