Mumbai: Google has elevated Poorva Bhatikar to the role of Industry Head – Auto, based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
In her new position, she will lead Google’s automotive industry charter in India, with a focus on strengthening strategic partnerships and accelerating growth across original equipment manufacturers, dealers, and allied ecosystem players. Her responsibilities include driving data-led and digital-first solutions to support the rapidly changing auto landscape.
Prior to this elevation, Bhatikar served as Industry Manager at Google, where she worked closely with key clients to deliver business growth through innovative marketing and platform strategies. With over 15 years of experience, she brings a strong mix of brand building, category leadership, and market expansion expertise.
Before joining Google, Bhatikar held senior roles at Disney+ Hotstar, Mattel Toys India, and Reliance Broadcast Network. At Disney+ Hotstar, she served as Senior Marketing Manager. In this role, she was responsible for acquiring and retaining a niche yet affluent consumer segment across the US, UK, and Canada, while also planning market launches in new geographies.
