Chennai: Freshworks Inc. (NASDAQ: FRSH) has entered a strategic partnership with global technology provider Unisys (NYSE: UIS) to resell its IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions, including Freshservice and Device42. The collaboration aims to strengthen Freshworks’ presence in the mid-market and enterprise ITSM sector, a space often dominated by complex and expensive solutions.
Expanding ITSM Solutions to a Wider Market
Under this agreement, Unisys will integrate Freshworks’ ITSM tools into its service offerings, providing mid-sized businesses and large enterprises with an alternative to traditional ITSM providers. With operations in over 120 countries, Unisys will leverage its global workforce and expertise in IT services to enhance the distribution of Freshworks’ solutions.
The partnership has already secured a customer, with a U.S.-based midsized industrial firm replacing its existing ITSM provider with Freshservice. The company reportedly completed the transition in under 12 weeks, citing ease of use and faster deployment as key advantages.
Strengthening Freshworks’ Partner Ecosystem
Unisys’ role as the first large-scale Managed Service Provider in Freshworks’ ecosystem introduces a new sales channel, which could help the company expand its reach beyond small and mid-sized businesses. Freshworks has been growing its network of partners, which now includes over 500 active collaborations worldwide.
Patrycja Sobera, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Digital Workplace Solutions at Unisys, stated that the partnership aligns with Unisys’ goal of enhancing enterprise IT services. “By combining our ITSM expertise with Freshworks’ modern software, we aim to provide businesses with efficient and scalable IT service solutions,” she said.
