Bengaluru: Contentstack, a headless Content Management System (CMS) platform for enterprises, has announced the appointment of Josette Leslie as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Based in New York City, Leslie brings over 25 years of financial leadership experience spanning the content management, fintech, and banking sectors. She is known for her ability to align operational strategy with financial performance, enhancing company and stakeholder value.
Leslie replaces David Overmyer, who is retiring from his executive role but will continue to serve on Contentstack’s Board of Directors. In her new role, Leslie will report directly to Neha Sampat, founder and CEO of Contentstack.
Before joining Contentstack, Leslie served as CFO at CAIS, an alternative investment platform for independent financial advisors. She also held the CFO position at Affinity, an enterprise CRM platform, where she helped guide the company through a period of rapid growth and operational scaling. Earlier in her career, Leslie held several leadership roles at E*TRADE Financial, focusing on brokerage finance, and spent five years at Instinet managing financial planning and analysis to support its IPO.
Beyond her corporate achievements, Leslie is actively involved in promoting gender equity in innovation. She serves as treasurer and chair of the audit and finance committee on the Board of Directors for Women in Innovation, a nonprofit organization supporting women changemakers.
