Intellect Design Arena Launches Purple Fabric as ‘Enterprise AI on Tap’ for SMEs

Intellect Design Arena Launches Purple Fabric as Enterprise AI on Tap

New Delhi: Intellect Design Arena Ltd. has announced that its AI platform, Purple Fabric, is now available as ‘Enterprise AI on Tap.’

The move allows up to 50 users within an organisation to deploy and scale Business Impact AI without heavy infrastructure investment.

The company said the launch positions reliability-first artificial intelligence as certified, governance-ready institutional infrastructure.

Purple Fabric: Built in India for Global Enterprises

Purple Fabric was conceptualised and engineered in India in 2016 under Intellect’s Enterprise AI Research Program. The company says the platform marks a structural shift in how institutions adopt AI. It aims to position India not just as a consumer of AI technology, but as a creator of enterprise-grade AI infrastructure.

The platform is designed for mid-sized enterprises, financial institutions, IT services firms, academic institutions, and government bodies. It allows organisations to adopt AI without building large internal AI teams or investing in expensive infrastructure.

Focus on Reliability and Governance

Highlighting the significance of the launch, Arun Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Intellect Design Arena and Chief Architect of Purple Fabric, said, “AI capability is no longer the constraint; reliability is. Enterprises do not hesitate because AI is weak; they hesitate because AI must earn the right to act. Purple Fabric is built around that principle. Organisations are moving beyond experimentation—they now need judgment-centric, trustworthy AI that is safe enough to trust with real decisions. Purple Fabric is engineered as certified, governance-ready infrastructure where reliability, auditability, and transparency are built into the architecture, not added afterward. This allows institutions to deploy AI with confidence across finance, healthcare, governance, and other mission-critical domains where consequence matters. The future of enterprise AI will belong to platforms that organisations can rely on every day, not just to generate answers, but to support accountable decisions.”

Structural Shift in Enterprise AI Access

Through the launch of ‘Enterprise AI on Tap’, Purple Fabric aims to change how enterprises access advanced AI. Today, production-grade AI systems are mostly controlled by high-cost global platforms, which limits adoption to a small group of large organisations.

Purple Fabric offers a different approach. It delivers governed, production-ready AI as shared infrastructure instead of a specialised engineering setup. This gives enterprises more control, predictable costs, and ownership of their own institutional knowledge.

Built on First Principles Thinking and Design Thinking, the platform focuses on making AI reliable and accountable from the start. Business-level accuracy, auditability, and trust are built into the system, not added later.

The platform runs on four integrated technology layers: Enterprise Knowledge Garden Designer, Digital Expert Designer, LLM Benchmarking and Optimisation, and Certified Enterprise Governance.

Purple Fabric Academy Supports Enterprise Rollout

The rollout is supported by the Purple Fabric Academy, which helps organisations put governed AI into practice. The Academy offers structured training, certifications, boot camps, and workshops.

It works with leadership teams, architects, and enterprise users to help them build secure knowledge systems, manage multi-agent AI environments, and apply accountable governance at scale. The goal is to help organisations move from AI experiments to stable, disciplined AI infrastructure.
