Chennai, Apr 24, (CXO Media): The global standards body GS1 had expanded its Chennai Development Center to further support India’s digital transformation journey.
The expanded center will focud on large scale deployment of platforms like DataKart, the Smart Consumer App, Clickit app and traceability solutions.
This will help the upgraded center consolidate development activities, upscale capabilities and accelerate innovation in 2D migration, traceability and AI-powered supply chain solutions.
The facility is now strategically designed to address the growing demands for transparency in the consumer goods abd healthcare sectors.
GS1 India has now become better equipped to help Indian enterprises meet emerging global requirements like the Digital Product Passport (DPP), Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
One key focus will be the integration of AI to automate data verification. This will ensure multiple scans occurring globally get backed by accurate, high-integrity product information.
