New Delhi: Ankur Baruah has been named Director (Human Resources) of Oil India Limited, a Maharatna Oil & Gas CPSE of the Indian government. On April 16, he took on charges.
Before this, Baruah was OIL’s Executive Director (HR), contributing more than thirty years of outstanding leadership and human resource management experience to an impressive career. He has a PhD in business administration and an MBA in human resources. In addition, he holds accreditation in psychometric testing and IPMA project management certifications.
Key HR responsibilities, including manpower planning, talent acquisition, performance management, stakeholder engagement, and change management, are all covered by Baruah’s extensive and varied experience.
He has been instrumental in promoting forward-thinking HR procedures that have greatly enhanced OIL’s reputation as a leader in the energy industry.
