New Delhi: HCLTech appointed Kiran Cherukuri on 19 May to lead its new global GCC practice, highlighting the company’s growing focus on its global capability centres in India.
Cherukuri will oversee the growth of HCLTech’s GCC practice in this capacity, assisting clients in making the most of the company’s extensive suite of corporate operations, services, and technologies. The business has partnered with more than 200 GCC countries in India thus far.
As per Rahul Singh, Chief Operating Officer of corporate functions, HCLTech: “GCCs have evolved into centres of strategic digital innovation for global enterprises. HCLTech plans to double down on this fast-growing segment with a sharp focus on India.”
Cherukuri mentioned that “GCCs are poised to deliver higher value through the transformation of technology and skills”.
With over 30 years of experience working for leading software companies and startups, Cherukuri is excited to return to HCLTech. He was at HCLTech for 14 long years, where he held important positions in engineering and R&D, industrial solutions, talent services, and digital foundation services.
