In an exclusive conversation with CXO Media & APAC Media, Sanjay Katkar, Co-Founder & Joint MD, Seqrite explains the key pillars of their GTM strategy and how is it driven by their partner ecosystem. He also outlines Seqrite’s differentiation as a full-stack CSMA aligned single platform solutions provider.
Could you provide an updated overview of Seqrite’s current product and service portfolio, including any recent innovations or expansions?
Seqrite’s portfolio is built around addressing the evolving cybersecurity needs of modern enterprises. Our Endpoint Protection remains key to our product lineup, combining AI-driven threat detection with ransomware defense and vulnerability management. We have expanded beyond endpoints with our Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solution, designed to secure hybrid work environments through strict access controls and continuous authentication. For data protection, our Data Privacy Management Platform ensures compliance with regulations like India’s DPDP Act by automating data classification and encryption.
A significant advancement here is our recently introduced Seqrite Intelligent Assistant (SIA), which leverages generative AI to automate threat investigations and provide actionable insights in natural language, reducing response times for security teams. Other recent innovations include the Seqrite Malware Analysis Platform (SMAP) and a Threat Intel platform. These tools offer real-time insights into emerging threats, such as state-sponsored campaigns targeting critical infrastructure. In addition to this, our Centralized Security Management Platform unifies endpoint, network, and cloud security under a single dashboard, simplifying oversight for enterprises.
What are the core components of Seqrite’s go-to-market strategy, and what key strategic initiatives are currently shaping its execution?
Our strategy focuses on three pillars: partnerships, AI innovation, and sector-specific solutions. We collaborate closely with distributors, resellers, and MSSPs to deliver localized protections, particularly in high-risk sectors like healthcare and BFSI, where attack rates exceed global averages.
A key initiative is integrating AI into our products. SIA is a great example of the same. It democratizes advanced threat detection for SMEs, enabling them to counter sophisticated attacks without large security teams. Apart from this, we are also deepening partnerships with government bodies, such as our work with NIST on data classification standards, which aligns our solutions with global best practices.
Another priority is tailoring defenses for critical infrastructure. After observing a 59% spike in IoT-targeted attacks last year, we have deployed specialized solutions to secure medical devices and industrial systems. These efforts are backed by reinvesting a significant portion of our annual revenue into R&D for emerging tech.
How is Seqrite’s partner ecosystem structured, and what role does it play in driving business growth and customer engagement?
At Seqrite, our partner network is tiered into Elite, Gold, and Business categories, ensuring organizations of all sizes receive appropriate support. Elite partners receive priority pre-sales and sales resources, exclusive co-branded marketing campaigns, dedicated webinars, and collaborative customer events to maximize business growth and market presence. Gold partners gain access to comprehensive sales and pre-sales resources, joint customer engagements, partner listing opportunities, and co-branded marketing materials to accelerate business expansion and customer reach.
Our business partners benefit from access to essential sales resources, demo licenses, rebate programs, and collateral support to enhance customer offerings and strengthen their business capabilities. This ecosystem drives growth by extending our reach to over 30,000 enterprises globally.
In a competitive cybersecurity landscape, how does Seqrite uniquely position itself against peers in terms of offerings, approach, or customer value?
Seqrite differentiates by being the only full-stack CSMA aligned single platform solutions provider. At the core of this differentiation lies our patented technology, GoDeep.AI, AI enabled deep predictive malware hunting engine. Our award-winning cybersecurity suite is powered by unmatched threat intelligence drawn from nearly 9 million endpoints, analyzed at Seqrite Labs—India’s largest malware analysis facility.
Regulatory alignment further strengthens our value proposition. Seqrite Data Privacy enables organizations of all sizes to stay compliant with the DPDP Act. Our presence in over 70 countries is further cemented by a robust network of our partners and highly skilled technical support ecosystem that ensures our customers receive expert assistance whenever and wherever they need it.
Are there any upcoming product launches, service enhancements, or strategic business moves that you believe will significantly impact Seqrite’s trajectory in the near future?
We are focused on Horizon 3 initiatives to monetize our threat intelligence assets and expand into adjacent consumer markets. A key priority for us right now is integrating generative AI across our product stack to enhance adaptability, like refining SIA’s ability to autonomously investigate threats while maintaining human oversight for critical decisions.
We are also deepening investments in our Horizon 2 solutions such as EDR, XDR, and ZTNA to future-proof defenses for India’s digital infrastructure. These strategic moves aim to solidify Seqrite’s position as a full-stack cybersecurity partner, capable of addressing both current and emerging challenges, all while driving sustainable growth in India’s digital economy.
