Bengaluru: The IT behemoth Infosys has introduced a new employee reward program. Any employee who interviews new personnel would be compensated with Rs 700 per interview under this initiative.
This is the first time Infosys has launched such an effort.
- Motivating more workers to take part in the hiring process is the aim.
- Employees would receive 700 points for each interview, which is equivalent to Rs 700 in cash.
- Since the program goes into force on 1 January, interviews that took place within the previous five months are also eligible.
- It is primarily intended for senior staff members who are engaged in lateral recruiting, or the hiring of seasoned professionals.
How Does It Work?
Therefore, there was no financial reward for conducting interviews in the past. Workers received compensatory leave if they attended interviews on the weekends.
Additionally, the prize will now only be given to staff who conduct interviews. This program is not open to members of the HR or Talent Acquisition departments. There will be no compensation if the interview is cancelled or the candidate fails to appear.
In order to attract better talent, this new monetary incentive seeks to improve the morale of team managers and mid-level leaders.
