Bangalore: Dell Technologies and its gaming brand Alienware will launch the new Alienware 16 Aurora laptop in India on July 12, 2025. The laptop will be available exclusively on Amazon.in as part of the retailer’s Prime Day Sale.

The launch signals Dell’s continued focus on expanding its gaming portfolio in India, where demand for high-performance laptops has grown steadily. The Alienware 16 Aurora is the latest addition to Alienware’s laptop series, designed to balance gaming performance with portability. The device features Alienware’s new Cryo-Chamber thermal architecture, aimed at improving cooling efficiency during intensive tasks such as gaming or content creation. With a design that draws from Alienware’s Area-51 and Aurora desktops, the 16 Aurora is positioned as a machine that can switch between work and play without compromising on performance.

The laptop will be offered exclusively through Amazon India, highlighting Dell’s omnichannel strategy for reaching tech-savvy and online-first consumers.

Commenting on the launch, Raj Kumar Rishi, Vice President and Managing Director, Consumer & Small Business at Dell Technologies India, said that the Alienware 16 Aurora draws inspiration from Alienware’s earlier desktop designs, while adapting them for mobile use.

Atul Mehta, Senior Director and General Manager, India Consumer Channel, Dell Technologies, noted that the exclusive online release reflects Dell’s evolving retail strategy, with a focus on digital platforms and e-commerce channels.
