New Delhi: Usha International has appointed Dipty Jalan as Chief Human Resources Officer (SVP HR).
She took to LinkedIn to confirm her new stint, saying: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer (SVP HR) at Usha International!” Usha International is a leading player in the fast-moving consumer durables sector, known for its products across fans, sewing machines, home appliances, and power equipment.
With almost 20 years of varied business and HR experience, Jalan has a strong background in learning, organisational development and talent management.
This is her second time working for Usha International; from 2015 until December 2024, she held a number of executive positions there. She was instrumental in establishing the company’s culture and advancing its talent transformation program during her previous position. Jalan previously served as Corporate Vice President and Head of Learning Culture, OD, and Talent Management at Axis Max Life Insurance.
As part of her new position, she will oversee HR strategy for Usha’s operations, which involve 3,700 employees dispersed over 16 regional offices, 60 corporate showrooms, and 33 warehouses around the country.
