Mumbai: Aurionpro Solutions Ltd. has secured a major order from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to design, supply, implement, and maintain the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 4A.
The project, valued at nearly Rs 250 crore, covers the delivery of a complete fare collection solution, including the Central Clearing House Software (CCHS) and all ticketing and payment hardware. The contract also includes five years of maintenance and support.
Boost to Urban Mobility portfolio
The project is one of the largest in Aurionpro’s Urban Mobility business and adds to its Tech Innovation Group (TIG). It follows recent AFC system wins for Delhi Metro and Chennai Metro, making Mumbai the third major Indian metro city to adopt Aurionpro’s technology.
Sanjay Bali, President & Global Head – Tech Innovation Group (TIG) at Aurionpro, said, “This is a prestigious and special win for us, and we are thankful to MMRDA for placing its trust in Aurionpro. We are proud to be part of a project that can transform connectivity in the country’s financial capital. Aurionpro will deliver full system implementation for the project, including the Central Clearing House Software (CCHS). As the only company offering complete, end-to-end solutions in this domain, Aurionpro brings indigenously developed capabilities, including NCMC-enabled card readers and automated gates made in India.”

Aurionpro provides end-to-end AFC solutions, from ticketing and payment hardware to central back-office systems, mobility apps, reservation portals, and operational infrastructure such as Operation Control Centres.
