Zaggle Signs Five-Year Referral Agreement with Standard Chartered Bank

Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services has signed a five-year referral agreement with Standard Chartered Bank to provide prepaid payment and expense management solutions to the bank’s corporate clients.

New Delhi: Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Ltd. has signed a five-year referral agreement with Standard Chartered Bank, the company said in its exchange filing on August 27. The arrangement positions Zaggle as a solutions provider, enabling it to offer its prepaid payment instruments platform and other services to corporate clients referred by Standard Chartered.

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. However, the development comes at a time when banks are increasingly collaborating with fintech firms to expand their digital offerings and improve customer engagement in the corporate segment.

For Standard Chartered, the partnership could enhance its service portfolio by providing clients access to technology-driven solutions in areas such as expense management and digital payments. For Zaggle, the referral model offers an opportunity to broaden its reach among large and mid-sized corporations through the bank’s client base. Industry analysts note that such agreements reflect the growing integration of fintech platforms into traditional banking ecosystems, particularly as enterprises seek more efficient, transparent, and scalable payment systems.
