Cognizant to Train 1,000 Context Engineers in Partnership with Workfabric AI

Superteams.ai Launches NextNeural Platform with 100+ AI Agents for Indian Enterprises

Chennai: IT services major Cognizant has announced a major initiative to train 1,000 context engineers over the next year, in collaboration with enterprise IT company Workfabric AI.

The program is aimed at industrialising agentic AI solutions across enterprises by leveraging Workfabric AI’s ContextFabric platform, which transforms organisational DNA into actionable context for AI agents.

ContextFabric: Enhancing AI Accuracy and ROI

Workfabric AI stated that ContextFabric has already demonstrated significant improvements in enterprise deployments, including up to three times higher accuracy, a 70% reduction in hallucinations, faster deployment cycles, and improved ROI. The platform is designed to amplify the role of context engineers in delivering trusted, enterprise-grade outcomes.

Defining the Role of Context Engineers

According to Cognizant, context engineers will be responsible for capturing enterprise knowledge, managing context lifecycles, building integration pipelines, and creating industry-specific solutions, while ensuring governance, privacy, and security. The company defines context as the complete knowledge base of an organisation, encompassing its operating model, goals, metrics, policies, governance, and collective learning from past decisions.

Integration with Cognizant’s ADLC

These skills will be developed across Cognizant’s service lines through targeted training and will be integrated with the company’s Agentic Development Lifecycle (ADLC). This approach is expected to ensure holistic context management, enabling AI agents to operate securely, effectively, and at scale.
