New Delhi: Forcepoint has appointed Aman Thareja as Area Vice President and Managing Director for India and South Asia. In this role, he will oversee business strategy, operations, and regional growth while focusing on advancing the company’s data security leadership in a rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
He brings more than 25 years of experience across cybersecurity, cloud, and networking domains. His career includes leadership roles at VMware, Symantec, Cisco, and Wipro Infotech, along with a significant tenure in the Indian Navy. At VMware, he served as Director of Sales for commercial and government accounts in India. At Symantec, he managed enterprise and public sector sales across India and SAARC, while his leadership at Cisco involved handling high-value engagements with central government, defence, and homeland security.
His early professional foundation in the Indian Navy and Wipro Infotech provided him with expertise in discipline, customer engagement, and program execution at scale. He is also a recipient of the President of India Gold Medal.
With his appointment, Forcepoint aims to deepen customer trust, drive channel partnerships, and reinforce its presence in India and South Asia. The move reflects the company’s focus on strengthening its regional leadership at a time when demand for advanced cybersecurity solutions continues to rise.
