New Delhi: Edtech firm PhysicsWallah (PW) has entered the legal education space with the launch of LexGlobal, a new vertical aimed at bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry practice. The initiative was unveiled in Delhi in the presence of students, advocates, and legal professionals.
LexGlobal is positioned to respond to the growing demand for practice-focused training in India’s legal sector, where expansion is being driven by startup activity, global transactions, compliance requirements, and intellectual property-intensive industries. The platform will offer structured certification programs targeted at law graduates and early-career professionals seeking exposure to areas such as corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.
PW announced four initial certifications covering contract drafting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, and alternative dispute resolution. The programs will carry joint branding from PW, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and partner law firms involved in course design.
The courses will blend recorded lectures with live faculty sessions, case studies, simulations, and capstone projects. Learners will be exposed to practical exercises such as contract redlining, mock arbitral proceedings, and M&A case walkthroughs. Modules will also introduce AI-based compliance and automation tools, alongside international frameworks like the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and FIDIC guidelines.
LexGlobal currently offers micro-certifications lasting six to eight weeks, with plans to expand into advanced and stackable credentials. The initiative is aimed not only at students but also at in-house counsels and corporate legal teams seeking structured upskilling.
Founded in 2020 by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari, PW has built its presence across online, offline, and hybrid learning formats. With LexGlobal, the company is now moving into sector-specific professional training, adding legal skills to its broader skilling and higher education portfolio.
