New Delhi: Innefu Labs has announced the appointment of Anju Gupta, former Director General of Police (DGP), to its Independent Board of Directors.
The company said her appointment aligns with its mission to strengthen expertise in national security and expand its leadership in AI-powered security solutions.
Gupta, a 1990-batch IPS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, retired as DGP after a long and illustrious career in law enforcement. She has held key field postings across Lalitpur, Pratapgarh, Agra, Faizabad, Kanpur, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, and Meerut, as well as senior positions in the state armed forces.
In addition to her domestic assignments, she has represented India on several international platforms, including the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, UNESCAP in Bangkok, and UNODC in Delhi. She also served on deputation with the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, contributing to national-level intelligence and security operations.
Throughout her service, Gupta has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service, the Government of India Medal for Gallantry, and the United Nations Medal. She has also received the FICCI Smart Policing Award and the ET Inspiring Women Leader Award for her leadership in security and governance.
According to Tarun Wig, co-founder and CEO of Innefu Labs, Gupta’s vast experience in law enforcement, strategic security, and international cooperation will add significant value to the company’s vision. Her insights are expected to enhance Innefu’s efforts to innovate and expand its AI-powered solutions for national and cybersecurity.
