Gandhinagar: Adani Green Energy Limited has operationalised 510.1 MW of renewable energy projects at Khavda in Gujarat.
This marks a significant addition to its growing clean energy portfolio. The newly commissioned capacity includes 300 MW of solar projects, 139.1 MW of wind energy, and 71 MW of hybrid installations combining solar and wind power.
With this addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has reached 17,982.3 MW (17.98 GW), strengthening its position among India’s leading renewable energy firms. The projects were executed through multiple step-down subsidiaries, with power generation commencing on the same day as commissioning.
Khavda in Gujarat is rapidly emerging as a major renewable energy hub, supported by favorable geographic and climatic conditions. The latest expansion aligns with AGEL’s long-term strategy to scale up its renewable capacity and contribute to India’s broader clean energy transition goals.
