New Delhi, 16 Apr, (CXO Media): Equinix has introduced Fabric Intelligence, an AI-native networking layer designed to help enterprises manage increasingly complex AI workloads across distributed environments. The launch reflects growing demand for automated infrastructure as organizations expand their use of artificial intelligence across cloud, data center and edge systems.

Enterprises adopting AI applications often face delays due to legacy network architectures that depend on manual processes. These workflows can slow deployment cycles and limit visibility across distributed systems. Research cited by market analysts shows a strong industry push toward network automation, with a majority of organizations identifying automated operations as essential to scaling future digital infrastructure.

Focus On Automation And Multi-Cloud Operations

Fabric Intelligence is designed to automate network connections across multiple environments, including public clouds and data centers. The platform uses AI-based tools to manage how infrastructure is configured, monitored and adjusted, reducing reliance on manual intervention. This shift is particularly relevant as enterprises adopt multi-cloud strategies and increase reliance on distributed AI workloads.

The development also aligns with wider industry trends toward AI-assisted network management. The launch highlights the ongoing transition toward AI-ready infrastructure, where networking platforms are expected to handle dynamic workloads and real-time processing demands.
