New Delhi, May 7, (CXO Media): India’s booming GCC market has triggered another top-level leadership move. Adani Group has appointed Sudhir Dasamantharao as Chief Executive Officer of Adani Enterprise GCC, at a time when large Indian companies are expanding AI-led global operations from India.
The appointment comes as Global Capability Centers (GCCs) emerge as one of the fastest-growing sectors in India’s corporate and technology ecosystem.
Companies across sectors are increasing investments in automation, AI operations, enterprise platforms, and global delivery hubs, turning India into a strategic base for multinational operations.
Before joining Adani Enterprise GCC, Sudhir Dasamantharao worked as an External Senior Advisor for GCC at McKinsey & Company, where he advised multinational companies on scaling GCC operations and transformation strategies. He also served as Chairperson at Giftt Consulting, focusing on AI-driven workforce transformation.
His previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at FourthSquare and senior leadership positions at Boston Scientific, Solenis, and EY. He has also worked with HSBC, Capital One, and American Express across operations and transformation functions.
The move highlights how India’s GCC race is no longer limited to multinational companies. Large Indian conglomerates are now building enterprise GCC capabilities to manage AI adoption, global operations, digital engineering, and shared services from India.
