With effect from August, Poornima Kamath has been appointed as the new Head of People & Culture for the Asia-Pacific region by Amadeus, a provider of IT services and consulting.
With more than 20 years of HR leadership experience in multinational corporations like as Microsoft and Hindustan Coca-Cola, Kamath contributes knowledge of diversity and inclusion, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and talent management.
Confirming her appointment on LinkedIn, Kamath reflected on her previous role at Fi, calling it “more than just a job” and “a whirlwind of belief, hustle, learning, and deeply human moments.” She expressed gratitude to her colleagues and shared her excitement about her new role at Amadeus, describing it as “a new canvas, a broader stage, and a chance to build for scale with heart.”
Kamath has over 20 years of experience, having headed HR for Sales and Diversity & Inclusion at Hindustan Coca-Cola and more than 12 years at Microsoft, where she worked on projects related to culture, leadership effectiveness, performance management, and talent acquisition.
