PwC, Supervity Join Hands to Replace RPA with AI Agents

Hyderabad: Supervity has entered into a strategic partnership with PwC to introduce artificial intelligence agents as an alternative to traditional robotic process automation (RPA) systems. The collaboration comes as enterprises, particularly Fortune 500 companies, increasingly report diminishing returns from rule-based automation tools. The joint initiative is expected to help organisations reduce manual workloads by up to 60 percent across finance, HR, IT and shared services.

Unlike conventional RPA bots, which operate on pre-programmed rules, AI agents are designed to reason, learn and adapt to complex workflows. This approach reflects a shift in enterprise automation strategies towards systems capable of continuous improvement and broader applicability. Supervity’s contribution lies in its modular, API-based platform that can integrate with existing enterprise infrastructures, while PwC brings its expertise in large-scale transformation and domain consulting. Together, the companies aim to enable faster deployment of automation solutions with measurable business outcomes.

The alliance will initially target areas such as audit preparation, contract compliance, invoice processing and employee support functions, with pilot projects already underway. Both companies see the collaboration as an opportunity to establish a model for scalable and responsible AI deployment. By combining technical architecture with transformation capabilities, the initiative underscores the growing trend of enterprises moving away from rigid automation systems towards more adaptive, intelligence-driven solutions. Plans are also in place to extend the offering across PwC’s global client network, positioning AI agents as a next step in the evolution of enterprise automation.
