Sophos Merges Partner Ecosystems with Secureworks, Launches Unified Program to Address Market Shift Toward Services

Mumbai: Sophos has introduced a new unified global partner program that integrates its existing network with that of Secureworks, following the recent acquisition. The move reflects the growing demand for streamlined cybersecurity services amid rising threats and vendor consolidation in the sector.

The new partner framework aims to support service-led growth models, as cybersecurity clients increasingly seek comprehensive services in addition to software products. Research by Canalys indicates that for every US$1 spent on cybersecurity tools, an additional US$2 is invested in related services — underscoring the rising importance of service delivery in the cybersecurity ecosystem.

By merging the Sophos and Secureworks ecosystems, the program seeks to create a single platform that facilitates access to tools such as XDR, MDR, SIEM, ITDR, and cloud security solutions. These will be available through the Sophos Central management platform, aimed at helping partners scale and respond more efficiently to market demands.

The updated program includes resources for partners to manage customer relationships and certifications more efficiently. It introduces simplified quoting processes, license tracking, sales guidance, and an AI-powered assistant to support partners on the platform. In addition, the program now offers certifications and training modules under Sophos Academy, including guided onboarding for Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and sales enablement tracks.

The initiative provides flexible entry points for different partner types, including managed services providers, resellers, systems integrators, and cyber insurance partners to build services aligned with their business models.
