New Delhi: Simpplr has appointed Amit Badkas as Director of Human Resources for its India operations, strengthening its leadership team in the country. Badkas brings two decades of HR experience across technology and financial services firms.
Before joining Simpplr, Badkas served as Director – HR at MaxLinear. His career includes leadership roles at Oracle, Dell, Mandiant (later acquired by Google), ABN AMRO Bank, and Wipro. With this appointment, Simpplr appears to be focusing on expanding its India presence while aligning its employee experience platform with the evolving needs of HR and business leaders.
Dhiraj Sharma, Founder and CEO of Simpplr, said the appointment comes at a time when the company is investing in building stronger people practices in India. According to him, Badkas’s practitioner background is expected to help ensure that Simpplr’s platform continues to reflect real-world HR challenges.
Commenting on his new role, Badkas noted that his focus will be on strengthening workplace culture and improving employee connection within the India team. He also highlighted the opportunity to share his perspective as an HR leader to influence Simpplr’s product roadmap.
