Trend Micro is rebranding its enterprise cybersecurity business to operate under the TrendAI name. The new brand identity marks the evolution of Trend Micro from a portfolio of products to a unified, enterprise AI cybersecurity platform.
The move is aimed to serve two focus areas. Firstly it aligns with Trend’s focus on solving real-world security challenges where cyber risk management is a core business priority for enterprises.
Secondly, the move acknowledges the evolution of AI as the next computer layer for the enterprise.
After rebranding, TrendAI will focus on 5 core principles
- gaining AI visibility usage
- agents and systems interact across environments
- identify the context and intent behind the interactions
- enforce policy and control over usage and agent-driven actions
- introduce himan oversight at critical decision points.
TrendAI is introducing several strategic initiatives including
- TrendAI AI Security Brief: A new podcast series of real-world stories at the intersection of AI and security
- TrendAI Spark: A global AI events ecosystem bringing together customers, partners and the broader technology community.
- S-RM Partnership: Expanding TrendAI partner ecosystem through a global incident response and cyber rosk advisory partner embedded in post-breach workflows
- HackerVerse Collaboration: Independent testing powered by autonomous AI agents executing real MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
“TrendAI is built for how our customers are looking at security evolving from reacting to events to understanding intent and governing machine-driven actions,” commented Sharda Tickoo, Country Manager, India & SAARC, TrendAI.
