New Delhi, May 4(New Delhi): Google has opened applications for the 2026 cohort of its Play Accelerator India programme.
The three-month accelerator, starting in July, will select up to 20 India-based startups building AI-powered apps listed on the Google Play Store. The programme targets Seed to Series A startups using artificial intelligence and machine learning as core technologies.
It will run a 12-week hybrid format, including a bootcamp, mentorship, and a Demo Day in November. Selected startups will receive technical audits, app performance insights, and growth support.
Past participants such as Toonsutra and Vidyakul used AI tools to improve product efficiency and content delivery.
Applications close on May 24, 2026.
