Lucknow: Sify Infinit Spaces Limited, a leading data center provider, has announced the launch of its first AI-Hub Data Center in Lucknow. The facility, located in the HCL IT City campus on Sultanpur Road, is now ready for business. The inauguration of the facility was done by the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, IAS Manoj Kumar Singh. The data center will be developed in four phases, with the first phase set to become operational by June 2025.

The new data center is strategically positioned near major multinational corporations operating in the NCR and Lucknow region. It is designed to reduce latency and serve as a critical asset for enterprises by improving computing response time through edge caching technology. Singh emphasized the government’s commitment to establishing Uttar Pradesh as a global AI hub. He stated that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to position India as a leading AI destination, and under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is actively building an AI ecosystem. The state is leveraging talent from premier institutions like IIT Kanpur, IIM Lucknow, IIT BHU, and IIIT Allahabad. Additionally, an AI City is being developed in Lucknow to support this vision, and Sify’s AI-Hub Data Center marks a significant step toward realizing this goal.
