Airtel Business appoints Binod Sriwastav as Global Business CBO.

New Delhi: Airtel Business has appointed Binod Sriwastav as Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer – Global Business, marking a key leadership addition aimed at expanding the company’s global enterprise operations.

Strategic Experience Across Telecom and Digital Infrastructure

Sriwastav joins with over two decades of experience in telecom and digital infrastructure, having worked with major industry players, including Google, Tata Communications, Bharti Airtel Limited and VSNL International. His background includes leading global connectivity initiatives and strategic partnerships, particularly in edge, backbone, and subsea network infrastructure.

At Google, Sriwastav was responsible for managing strategic partnerships across India and South Asia, focusing on expanding the tech giant’s physical network presence. Before that, during his tenure at Tata Communications, he led the Global Service Provider Business, contributing to sales and business development strategies across international markets.

This appointment also marks a return to Airtel for Sriwastav, who previously served as Vice President of Global Connectivity Products at Bharti Airtel. His earlier role involved developing enterprise-focused network offerings and driving global connectivity strategy. His extended experience at VSNL International, where he worked on partnership services for over a decade, further strengthens his understanding of long-haul network strategies and global carrier relationships.

His appointment is part of a broader shift in the company’s global enterprise strategy as it aligns more closely with the rising demand for scalable and secure network solutions among multinational businesses.
