Gurugram: Cisco has announced the appointment of Rajan Bhandari as the Director of Public Sector Business for India. In his new role, Bhandari will lead Cisco’s initiatives focused on accelerating digital transformation across government and public sector organizations in the country.
Bhandari, a seasoned industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, brings a wealth of expertise in digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and e-governance. At Cisco, he is tasked with driving growth and building strategic collaborations that align with national digital initiatives and societal development goals.
Prior to joining Cisco, Bhandari held several senior leadership positions across top technology firms. Most recently, he served as Senior Director at Hitachi Vantara, where he managed government business across India and the SAARC region. His prior roles include CEO of Hitachi MGRM Net Ltd. and leadership tenures at Hitachi Systems, Oracle, and HP, where he was instrumental in building sustainable ecosystems and mentoring emerging leaders.
