Bengaluru: Boeing has appointed Shashank Jha as the India Site Leader for Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Boeing India. Based in Bengaluru, Jha will lead the strategic direction and operations of the IDT&S team in India, comprising nearly 1,500 professionals.
Bringing over 20 years of experience in IT and engineering leadership, Jha is recognized for his expertise in enterprise systems, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and product engineering platforms. Prior to joining Boeing, he was the India Global Capability Center Leader at Dover India, managing corporate IT across India and China. He has also held senior roles at GE, Honeywell, and Bosch, where he led various IT and PLM centers of excellence.
In his new role at Boeing, Jha will focus on enhancing collaboration, driving talent development, and boosting site-level engagement across Boeing’s India IDT&S operations. He will also work closely with global engineering, product support, and business partner teams across Boeing’s international IDT&S function. In addition to this position, Jha will serve as Executive Director of Commercial Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) products, a key area supporting Boeing’s global engineering operations
