Mumbai: Panasonic has appointed Anurag Verma as the Head – IT Infrastructure & Security, strengthening its leadership team amid an accelerated focus on digital transformation and operational excellence.
Based in Mumbai, Anurag brings over 20 years of rich experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital strategy. In his new role, Anurag will be responsible for driving Panasonic’s IT modernization efforts, enhancing digital resilience, and aligning infrastructure capabilities with the company’s evolving business goals. His mandate includes strengthening the organization’s IT backbone, ensuring robust cybersecurity frameworks, and advancing scalable infrastructure solutions to support long-term growth.
Prior to joining Panasonic, Anurag held leadership roles at IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd, Redington India, HCL Infosystems Ltd, and ANAND Group India. Across these roles, he successfully led large-scale initiatives in cloud adoption, data center modernization, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
An engineering graduate in information technology, Anurag is well-versed in cloud technologies, ITIL processes, service delivery optimization, and IT budget management. His strategic blend of technical expertise and business insight positions him as a key asset in Panasonic’s digital journey.
