Chennai: Redington Limited has signed a strategic downstream distribution agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help accelerate cloud adoption through partner-led initiatives. The collaboration, part of AWS’s Revenue Acceleration Pilot (REAP) program, focuses on extending cloud capabilities to a wider network of partners that may not have direct access to AWS resources. The agreement enables Redington to act as an intermediary, supporting mid-tier partners with technical expertise, funding, training, and go-to-market strategies. The initiative is expected to help smaller partners build their cloud capabilities and address the growing demand for digital transformation across sectors.
Redington’s role will involve not only distributing AWS services but also developing tailored strategies to help these partners deliver cloud solutions to their customers. The company plans to assist partners through hands-on guidance, marketing support, and upskilling programs.
The REAP program is part of AWS’s broader effort to extend its ecosystem by collaborating with strategic distributors who can help bridge the gap for partners that may lack the scale or technical know-how to fully leverage cloud technologies.
“The collaboration allows us to work alongside partners to build capacity and enable cloud transformation in markets where adoption is still growing,” said Sridhar S, Executive Vice President at Redington Limited.
Praveen Sridhar, Head of Partner Business at AWS India and South Asia, noted that Redington’s market reach and technical support play a key role in helping AWS expand its cloud footprint in India.
