ZS Plans on Hiring Global Workforce by 4,000 Amid Growing Demand for GCCs

New Delhi: With India playing a key role in this expansion, ZS has announced ambitions to add 4,000 specialists to its worldwide workforce. The growth coincides with an increase in demand for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), which are now crucial to an organisation’s operational and digital transformation plans.

Approximately 13,000 people work with ZS globally at the moment, with over 10,000 of them headquartered in India, having offices in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Gurgaon and Noida.

“India is an important and strategic growth vector for ZS. About 3/4th of our talent is based here. Out of our 38 offices globally, six are in India and are of significant size and scale,” said Mohit Sood, Regional Managing Principal at ZS.

ZS works together across a variety of sectors, with a particular emphasis on healthcare. With a focus on technology and analytics, the company helps pharmaceutical companies set up and run own GCCs.

One of ZS’s primary offerings is its “GCC-as-a-Service” concept. For instance, in collaboration with Roche, ZS oversees a specialised GCC in Chennai that functions as an extension of Roche and provides assistance with data analytics.

ZS’s intended growth is in line with more general developments in the digital economy of India, where GCC countries are becoming more valuable strategic assets. These facilities enhance India’s standing as a centre for technology, analytics, and business transformation by fostering co-creation, innovation, and tighter cooperation with international clients.
